Prosper is a community group, based in Darwin, for men and family members of men whose lives have been impacted by Prostate Cancer.

There is a common saying that more men die with a prostate problem than from it. But that is only true if you are lucky; or you get to control prostate cancer as a result of finding out early enough. This will enable you to make an informed decision about treatment, without pressure.

Men of any age with waterworks problems, especially those in the 50 to 60 age bracket should consult their Doctor.

Current research suggests that men in their 40's with a family history of - Prostate, Breast or Ovarian cancer, should get checked out.

Prostate cancer is a complex cancer and much research continues around the world.
